Our Health Economist has his PhD in Statistics and Master’s in Biochemistry from Oxford University, UK. He combines technical expertise with pragmatic healthcare experience and health economic publications in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. He has a long track record of assembling and managing interdisciplinary teams to address significant health concerns and opportunities.
He is a frequently called upon as an international speaker and consultant and has published over 100 articles, chapters and abstracts in the scientific literature.
Health Analyst
Our analyst has extensive experience in health services research and policy and has worked in the health care delivery and insurance sectors as well. She has modeled the Medicare payment methodologies for inpatient hospital, outpatient hospital, physician practice expense, and EHR datasets. She has co-authored several published studies of the costs and outcomes associated with medical technology. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in business from Georgetown University and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Yale University.
Managed Care Pharmacist
Our managed care pharmacists is a proven leader in full-service pharmacy benefit management, value-driven analytics and clinical software that improves outcomes in targeted patient populations while lowering the costs to manage these populations. He has extensive experience contracting with CMS and has served beneficiaries enrolled in Medicare Part D Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP) programs. He has held many leadership positions at other national PBMs and at regional integrated health plans. In these roles his responsibilities included management of clinical pharmacy functions and programs, such as disease management, pharmacy and therapeutics committee membership, prior-authorization guideline development, employer and employee education programs, therapeutic conversion and generic substitution programs as well as implementing corporate disease management initiatives. He is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and Global Respiratory Infection Partnership (GRIP) and is a reviewer for the Journal of Managed Care Pharmacy, Past President of AMCP (2012-2013) and a Fellow of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (FAMCP). He received his doctor of pharmacy from Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy in Downers Grove, IL.
